well even at $40 greenie has to raise immediately that is the issue, and at these levels we are looking at a few basis points I'd say. Around here, with no jobs a lot of people have been living on home equity for 3 years and any increase in rates has to slam on the brakes there I would think. The real estate stocks crashed a short time ago.

yes, but it's not about reserves right now. Is it hard to imagine in the given circumstances, a middle-East boycott; or a destabilization of some middle-East governments?

Fighting terrorism was one thing, fighting Bush's war is something else. I think they're losing control of the situation.
