Kerry-McCain led the fight for fuel efficiency standards. Their CAFE standards bill which was moderate and would have saved us more oil than is in the entire state of Alaska was targeted for defeat by the Bushie oil lobbyists. Bushies want us to consume more and pay more for it. That way, they get richer. All VIP's with entourages use large vehicles. They have no choice. I saw Kerry in a hyrbid war last year though. He knows and cares very much about fuel efficiency and geting us off Bushie Arab oil.
