Another point ACF, is that people seem not to actually read for comprehension. Viola was well-explained in your original post. As you described, it's an amusing usage.

It fascinates me how one can laboriously spell things out, reason them through, and provide data, and if the reader doesn't like it because it doesn't fit their preconceived idea, they simply ignore it without comprehension, let alone reasoning the matter through.

Sure, some things are a matter of opinion and reason and data only go so far before we are stuck with educated guesses, on which two people can diverge. But I don't mean those things. I mean the comprehension and reasoning process.

Hello ACF,

Was my explanatory paragraph not sufficiently explanatory? I guess it's a mistake to leave anything to be inferred on this thread. So, you have forced me to do it. Explain my post, that is.

Aha! I get it now... Don't you just hate it when you have to explain a joke? <ggg>

Mea culpa...

I still have a videotape from Hawaii where my Dad says 'Alaho' to everyone. We had to train him to say Aloha after once he said Alaho and the Hawaiian dude said Aho (A-hole). It was getting messy.
