Yes, Nadine, Syria has assisted the United States against Al Qaeda. Quickie google turned this up first thing: iht.com I have no idea what Crown Prince Abdullah means when he says that Zionists are behind Al Qaeda. Nevertheless, I am grateful that some in Saudi Arabia continue to assist the US in going after Al Qaeda. Would that it were more. The Saudis, Egyptians, etc., I've spoken to in the past don't conflate the interests of the US with those of Israel, and neither do you, and neither do I.
