First car I ever bought was a spankin brand new Volkswagon Beetle Deluxe in 1966. It cost $ 1760 and I had trouble getting $ 3.00 of gasoline in it. I was as pleased with that car at that time as I was with any bigger better auto I've owned since. Much like my first bicycle as I recall.
However, nothing ever compared with the thrill of getting a BB gun when I was about 12. I guess kids don't get BB guns anymore.
