Your optimism about our deficit situation is truly naive. The whole rightwing myth about "the lower the taxes the higher the revenues" is just silly and childlike. This especially applies to taxes on the idle rich who don't spend it.

Obviously, any sensible person knows that 2 - 1 does not equal 3, it equals 1, but Bushies will tell you different.

Also, the Bush administration has does nothing nothing about cutting spending except on things like enforcing EPA and IRA rules and cutting veterans benefits, womens health and college grants. The zooming health care, pork barrel, military and energy prices are what is fast bankrupting us. The war alone is a budget-breaker.

I'm sure you will see that after four years Cheney-Bush have delivered us a whopping 2 trillion dollar deficit which will not be turned around for more than a year after they're kicked out of office for fiscal mismanagement and will take many years to repay. That also dumps many billions more of interest on our heads for as far as the eye can see.
