Iraq had nothing to do with the real war on terror. If you believe it did, you're either duped, blindly loyal to neocons, ignorant or crazy. Even Bush has admitted Saddam had nothing to do with 9-11. We have not found a single Al Qaida anything in Iraq. Saddam and Al Qaida hated each other. And no WMD's either. Bush's invasion has MADE is a horrendously dangerous place but it was doing us no harm before 2003.

Today for the first time you saw conservative GOP senators realizing the war effort has failed and was a big mistake. In private I am sure they are saying this. Almost all of them. No one in the White House has a solution now. Our only hope is a new president who can be a great diplomat and sees war in very realistic terms. John Kerry with the help of McCain, Clark, Clarke, Wilson, Beers and other experts who have no special interests in mind, just pacification. Time to figure out a way to bring our guys home.
