With the Q providing live web casts of their analyst meetings, individual investors now have the same opportunity as the analyst community to hear and view those presentations.

Prior mid quarter guidance updates have been running more towards the 2nd half of the quarter-

..May 12 - 3rd qtr update
..Feb 23- 2nd qtr update
..Dec 4- 1st qtr update
..Sept 15- 4th qtr update.

It is my recollection that the Q has been providing guidance for the next year during November of that year. By providing 2005 handset sales guidance at this time, the Q has diverted from tradition. This should be viewed favorably by Q’s investors as it should help the “analyst” community provide more realistic 2005 estimates/ targets sooner rather than later.
