There was a prison in Chongqing for CCP members and progressive students in 1940s set up by GuoMingDang under the supervision and advice of the US special agents, named US-Sino Technology Co-operation Institute. The US advisors introduced/invented numerous (some said 48 dif. kinds) crual torturing tool/machines/instuments, to torture the prisoners, and serve the purpose of breaking-down-the-prisoners-will-and-force-them-to-open-their-mouth (just like what they are doing in Iraq and Quant. Bay). So what the US is doing in Iraq is nothing new.
