When the party involves people like us, they are there in hours, even if it's a much smaller party.

Then I guess the white inhabitants of Sarajevo are not "people like us" because there wasn't that much coverage of the civil war. Some, but I don't remember getting hit with images to compare to say, Somalia, which was definitely a CNN-driven policy.

Well, people do care more about their own relations than strangers half-way around the world, what is so strange about that. What is it that you want of us? To tear our hair and beat our breasts over it? or are you implying that we have some responsibility to stop such things everywhere they occur? We can't do that. You are usually the first to point out the limits of American power. So what do you want us to do, just to feel really bad about the way the Hutus and Tutsis are behaving in the Congo and Rwanda?
