The dollar is a joke. Fed prints so many that they become worthless and create inflation. Then they raise interest rates (meaning they will give you more of the worthless paper if you loan them some more money). So the value of it goes up and they print a bunch more to counter the negative affect of raising the rates. rinse, lather, repeat

Its like a tech stock giving a 2/1 split every other month to keep the price going up.

when/if the Fed finally raises, the dollar will go down, gold will go up and long rates will come in. It is the expectation NOW that is doing its work -- watch it and see if you don't believe me -- watch what happens when they raise rates.
