Well, when we're militarily involved in so many countries around the globe, start wars on evidence that is later proven false, have 70% of the public believing a falsehood like Saddam Huessein was behind 9/11, have prisons with questionable treatment of prisoners, and abuse scandals (which go way beyond some of the casual mistreatment in the original photos and into the rhelm of clear human rights abuses and criminal conduct), it makes you wonder what the hell the U.S. stands for these days??? I'm amazed that it has not entered the Presidential debate that perhaps some of these policies should be changed and perhaps we should spend money improving our own country. $200 Billion could go a long way towards improving our country.
