Expensing options for a few select people, whether it is 5, 10, 15 or 50, is idiotic. It is either an expense or not.

I would much rather not expense options at all. The selective options expensing would be the worst option since it would render the income statement almost irrelevant. At least with options not expensed but disclosed you could actually adjust the statements with relative ease.
