Buchanan is a realpolitik guy who hates the israel lobby and thinks that american policy would have been better served by ignoring the democracy of israel and dealing with the arab potentates. This is the old State Department view as well. Then Buchanan combined this belief with his American First isolationism. So you get a guy who would cut a deal with bin laden if we could be guaranteed oil forever and non-aggression from muslim fundamentalists. This would probably end up in kicking out most american muslims. Of course israel would be jettisoned and they would be on their own without aid. As would europe be for that matter. mike

Buchanan's article gets almost no play, Kennedy is on the front page and lead of all the media.

C'mon, Bill. That a story gets no play in the big media never stopped anyone before. I thought the whole idea was to find things the liberal media pass up out of bias and rant about both the message and the fact that the media suppressed it. <gggg>

P.S. What's the emoticon for "teasing."
