Yes, it was going to cost another 40-50K in material costs since last year, so I said f'it. You should see the price of lumber and what it's done even from last fall... <NG> That is why I think we are close to a top. People can't sell and upgrade without a substancial increase in their mortgage... <NG>

Also, it had to due with wife's taxi service with the kids (4 girls now from 2 when we bought the land) and their dance schedule. They are at the studio 5 days a week and it would be a 40min drive for her oneway...

Me adding to my house will not cost that much and will make it more marketable, I have owned this house for 14 years and I'm only 37, it's very cheap living and my wife likes that especially coming out of a slow sales period since 9/11 for this sales guy...
