I don't believe it is a power issue. Like clockwork, when my connection reaches 3 days (exactly 72 hours to the second), my connection is dropped. I've reseated my cards, cables, reset the modem and the router. I've also tried the "repair connection" feature on Connections. The closest replication I can determine is the connection clock via the ControlPanel/NetworkConnections/Lan/Duration Status. Everytime I get to 72 hours, POOF! Rebooting is the only solution. I run a W98 machine via the same router with no problems and have swapped out cable jacks to see if it was hardware. Nope!
