Still think too many ways to avoid paying -- ie if you have 5 properties each valued at $750,000, set up 5 separate corporations, each corp. has less than $1 mill in assets, and if rental is under 200 thou .. no luxury tax.. how would family trusts be handled...I know what the target of the tax is, but how to tax those and not the middle class person who bought a $80,000 condo for rental income gets to be tough.
