Yes BPT stopped payments, too, at one point.

But that was because there was no net income at that time after allowing for "lifting costs."

But I wondered if to retain trust status they had to disburse some percentage of net income.

EDIT: yes, I am talking purely about the Canadian trusts, and SJT and BPT are US.
