Taikun, <<She tells me we are obviously in the wrong real estate partnership>>

... The lead partner, Sam, is awesome and hard to match. I bow before him.

He started out by signing on as unpaid CEO of a chain of five nothing shops in HK and turned it into a HKD 3.6 bil publicly listed company websun02.sasa.com of some size finance.yahoo.com

He is one in-tune-with-the-Force and ethical guy who just raised USD 400 mm for the Phase II expansion of this in Shanghai gluckman.com (Phase I was USD 1 bil).

He is hunting in Tokyo now.

And he is starting a chain of branded English schools across China.

He does big and small deals, as long as they are good deals.

His kid takes violin lessons from my sister-in-law, and my wife does some executive recruiting for his projects.

I basically invest in his deals on a time-phased and geographically diversified basis, without too much DD, and harvest a little bit every-so-often.

Chugs, Jay
