He last contacted his family on April 9. Yet, it was during the middle of the Armed Services Committee session that the news of Berg's murder was made public and supposedly posted on the al Qaeda Web site. The timing was impeccable. It seems almost beyond mere coincidence that an Internet video was posted when Republican hardliners could register public denunciations of the Abu Ghraib abuse investigations. It was another can of gasoline on the political fire of Iraq. ---- Subjugating Iraq is a win-win proposition for the Bush crime syndicate and the Saudi royals: for the Bush's the oil wealth of Iraq; one less secular bulwark against the renaissance of the Caliphate under the House of al Saud.<<
