I was getting lots of that garbage, but after my recent virus nightmare I've made some changes. I realize I've always been a little lax with my security, but decided to start using a firewall. I had my wife pick up Norton Internet Secruity at Wally World the other day, and man what a difference. This software has a spam filter and ad blocker included. I've gone to the log and its unbelievable how many popups and banners its blocked. In fact I haven't had one since I installed it. The firewall takes a little getting used to but after even a few days I can't imagine not having it, after seeing all the stuff it stops. I'm also using Spyware Blaster, which was recommended here. So now I miss out on the emails for pills and patches that will enhance my male anatomy, the invites to the porn sites, and all that other garbage.
