Lorne,

It is always critical to know the end game when you are entering some hellicious task like a war. In otherwords, it's important to know when you have won..........in order to achieve that you must define victory. The "job" I refered to is actually what were we trying to achieve?
We can't go on fighting forever, and we will if we have no defined goals.

What will victory look like in Iraq? Bush hasn't told us so maybe you can.

The forces in Afghanistatn have been downsized along with the money from us. Karzai isn't running the country and the rest of the world has lost faith in us and our ability to follow through on any promises.

Afghanistan is in shambles and yes there are training camps operating. OVer a year ago I heard of 12.

I have a friend from Pakistan who claims that AL Qaeda is everywhere and they blend in with the population easily. It's impossible to identify the vast majority of them.
