That's a fun read.
I love that phrase - "the bland leading the bland"

Win,

Hans Blix was and continues to be a self-justifying jerk.

He thought he was being clever. His plan was to, first show himself to be tough on Iraq and get credibility with the US/UK by continuously yapping about how he couldn't account for the last thimbleful of some chemical.

And then his plan was to say: folks you know what a hard nosed inspector I am, blah blah blah. But after all the search, my considered conclusion is there are no wmd now, even though I can't account for the last thimbleful.

But he was derailed by the pro-war party before he could get to part 2 of his plan. They just took part 1, and told him: shut up, we don't need you any more.

This moron cost tens of thousands of people their life.
