And what, exactly, was 9/11, except a bloody and barbaric signal that Islamic militants have the United States squarely in their sights??

Iraq IS part of the war on terror Zeuspaul.. It certainly is NOW (and was previously) for the Islamic militants seeking to control those oil reserves and use them to finance their Jihad.

The REAL clear and present danger are the demographics baby-boom combined with economic stagnation in the mid-east.

And I would rather attempt to intervene positively NOW, rather than waiting for those corrupt regimes in the region to either fall, or politically cave in to militant pressures, and the price WE ALL PAY (them and us) being DRASTICALLY HIGHER.
