Iraq has a border with both of those countries who's states are believed to sponsor the murder of christians, jews, agnostics and atheists throughout the world.

What atrocities did Saddam commit specifically on the Christians in Iraq? Sure, if anybody opposed him, they would vanish regardless of whether they were Sunni or Shia, Kurdish or Christian.
