J. Chris, I respect a legitimate argument. There are many points that are worthy of legitimate debate and evaluation. Frankly, I am fully open to an alternate solution to our problems. So far I have not heard one. I see kerry as without a rudder. I see his campaign embodied by kerry spirit. Fortunately it is still May. The election is in November. By then trends will be clear. The path of the economy will be clear. The situation in Iraq will be clear - perhaps hopeless. The ability of lack thereof of kerry of provide a credible alternate will be clear.

My internal compass believes that lower taxes bring more revenue for the public good. My inner compass says you can't be anti business and pro jobs (even kerry says that - but the left he courted to win the election does not).

It is unfortunate that the dem primary process requires a candidate to move so far left.

As for kerry spirit, it is amusing to play with his/her/its idiocy. Frankly I believe that kerry spirit and chinu are multiple personalities doing shift work. It is particularly obvious with Chinu whose syntax at times is very foreign and at other times completely contemporary. I cannot help but believe the "in your face" wing of the dem party sponsors their activities.
