The education bill was a joke. He failed to fund his own bill which is petty devious for such a "Christian" guy!! A friend of mine was a teacher in Nevada at a school which was acting as a pilot for one of Bush's education programs. The trouble with the program was that all the teachers were so pressured to make the school look good they all swept the problems "under the rug". My friend reported too many of her students for extra psychological help and she didn't get her contract renewed. She had one first grader that was caught with a bottle of Tequila on the playground. When she asked him why he brought it he told her that he shouldn't have done it cause he really liked beer better than Tequila. Another girl she strongly suspected was being molested by a stepdad. Another was being watched by the juvenile authorities for theft of several apartments where he lived. First graders!!!!!!!!
