Nick Berg didn't sneak into a Zoo & he didn't get his head
bit off by an alligator.

He went to Iraq on his own, knowing full well the dangers.
It also appears that he was personally warned of the
dangers he was placing himself in. That he chose to go his
own way makes it hard to blame Bush, etc., any more than
one can legitimately blame a furniture maker because
someone used a swivel chair with casters as a step ladder
& fell.

Those who slaughtered him are sentient human beings. They
knew full well what they were doing. They also knew full
well that their enemies (America, the Joooos & much of the
West) would see their actions as a horrific crime.

I see no reason to claim Nick Berg's negligence or
idealism in any way mitigates the crimes the terrorists
comitted.
