Because of the insight that I gather while talking to and reading liberals and “liberal” reporters. Every single grown up among them (of those paying attention that is...lots of folks on both sides still getting most of their news from the late night comics) is sickened by the prison scandal. C'mon Bill.: "Her editors back on the East Coast were giggling, she said, over what a disaster Iraq had turned out to ". Let's name a name here…what's the frickin secret...was there an "off the record" disclaimer I missed in that bag of blog-style "friend of a friend" revelation. You really have to be in the cult already to swallow any of it. Even if that dizzy bitch does exist, as I already wrote , the “Nuke Em” types are more frequently sighted and much scarier. The topper is if you count the numbers of conservatives who now seem interested in spamming video of Berg’s severed head as quality propaganda … irony? Even I run out of the words and redundancies to describe it.

You want to be sickened? You think that Ruby Ridge and Waco were atrocities...Want to talk a shift in POV? Watch Nightline tonight and imagine if the CIA and the Justice Department's secret prisons were being run by the Clinton Administration. Imagine if it was Democrats that were using these new "tools" of interrogation. You’d be able to hear the howl on the mainland all the way across the Pacific.

I just get tired of the "oh no!" from the left.

One more question on this subject. If the media on the right don't deny their bias, what are we to make of the "fair and balanced" mantra, which asserts a lack of bias? Is that not just another version of "oh no"? And wouldn't that grate on liberals who may try to watch Fox just as "oh no" grates on conservatives? If the media on the right don't deny it, isn't Fox being not only hypocritical but needling about it?
