That looks like a good read, do let me know if you like it. I am surprised by the society here in the US which is a bit unlike what is portrayed by Hollywood, particularly the religious bit. It is a shame life didn't imitate art more. I worked hard for the money I earned blowing away revenue quotas for my American bosses in the US and Tokyo. That's why they transferred me from Tokyo to San Francisco. I was working for a Canadian company that moved their operational H.O. to the US. It is a pity there were so few jobs in Canada. Every day is a struggle to keep myself and my family from being brainwashed by the drivel and degraded values everpresent in the mass media here. You are right about the growing divergence between Canada and the US.
