Tejek, this is getting stranger by the minute. The FBI said one of the terrorists used Berg's email account:

"FBI agents interviewed Berg a few years ago when they were investigating the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks on New York and Washington, sources said. He was interviewed because, unbeknownst to him, Moussaoui had used his e-mail account when he was in Oklahoma. "

If Berg was connected with Moussaoui (and according to this report, he was indirectly so), then that might also explain why they kept him in prison for as long as 13 days.

The Berg situation is full of many unusual coincidences.

It's bizarre. And now the Iraqi police are swearing that he was never in their custody. And Berg told someone he was busted for being an Israeli spy. Something is not adding up here.

I do not understand why a unemployed man would keep going over to Iraq and travel around the country unprotected......particularly when he is Jewish. It does not make sense at all.
