Once again I believe your concern about extending unemployment benefits is totally politically motivated. Since when does the GOP think the populace isn't getting enough social programs? As a right winger you would throw a "welfare bum" in the street in a second even if they were on welfare due to illness. You would let someone on unemployment with cancer go untreated if he has lapsed medical coverage. Don't kid yourself - that is happening every single day in America. Kerry's "missed" vote was a set-up by the GOP. You had a ton of GOP'ers would voted against it - get on their case.
