ak, They were left when Stalin was alive. But now, since they represent the old, discredited regime, they are the conservatives. The political spectrum is very close on the extremes. Which is why the Nazis and Communists signed an alliance in 1939. Well, that and the fact that everyone wanted a piece of Poland. <G>

"if you would have half a brain you would realize that Stalin and communists were far left and hence much closer to you, lefty."

Well, at least I seem to be a little closer to a full brain then you seem to be Albert --- since you are flat WRONG on so many of the particulars:

1) I'm a fiscal and economic Conservative, and a Small Government conservative as well..
2) I'm a Capitalist.
3) My social views (equal opportunity, equality before the law, etc.) are congruent with the majority of the American public... putting me dead-center in the middle of the political spectrum when measuring social attitudes.
4) I'm strongly Libertarian in my views about governmental power --- putting me strongly in favor of the exact same types of individual liberties that our forefathers enshrined in our Constitution.

So, on that political axis, the Authoritarian/Libertarian axis, I come out in near polar opposition to Stalin's Authoritarianism.

...Not so sure about you though, and I'm way sure that ole Cyber-Stalin is Stalinesque Authoritarian to the core!

"Stalin and communists were far left and hence much closer to you, lefty"

That's interesting because Cyberken sees traitors as much as Stalin did and seems intent on modelling himself on the dictator, what with his interest in purging America of people he disagrees with. The gulag and a bullet in the back of the head are Stalin's legacy, sounds like Cyberken's mentor to me. Cyber is more a fascist in his ideology, which is totalitarian/dictatorial, not left, right or democratic.
