I don't particularly think so.

He's WAY more Authoritarian (actually, I would say: Dictatorial...), but he's a Big Fat Liberal when it comes to supporting Big Government.

He believes that 'deficits don't matter', and that the federal government can run up all the debt it wants to on the backs of the poor American taxpayers. (This leads, of course, to the continuous growth of the government sector, at the expense of the private sector, and unrestrained deficits lead to either systemic inflation [a tax on the economy] or higher taxes, or both.)

He supports Big Government's 'rights' to restrict or eliminate pretty much any individual liberty it wants to.

He supports a reactionary social agenda, it's true, but because he supports giving the government all the power it asks for to to enforce it's preferred social engineering measures... this only promotes the endless growth of Big Government --- which is NOT traditional Conservatism at all.
