He served and thats good enough for me. I'm not sure he was a hero and thats where I think he loses style points. While he's not openly saying he's a hero his supporters are tossing the word around quite frequently. IMHO the word gets over used and loses its effectiveness in the very same way that calling someone a racist has begun to lose its sting.
