Hi Lizzie, but the problem with this article's assertion that Industrial Production is a better measure, is that the services sector of our economy is huge. We are an information age economy, so to focus only on industrial production is vastly underestimating real growth. Especially, since in an information economy the real growth comes from services and knowledge capital. JMO.
