I do not view your examples as a picture of capitalism but one of tyranny.

I believe true capitalism is a philosophy that lacks any obligations upon the people, with the vital exception of the law that one must not initiate the use of force or fraud upon another (this would contradict freedom). Whereas a socialist system does exactly that. Socialism is about controlling people. It considers that left alone people cannot make the right decisions, and they need to be controlled to correct this.

The arrogance is that the socialist considers himself a better judge of your life than you.
