Any cop who votes for Bush is nuts. Bush's people have clearly put into the Homeland Security Act clauses whereby they can bust the unions of cops, firemen and other first reponders any time they want. They have also stiffed the states of promised funding and equipment and police and firemen are being laid off all across the country. Third, Bush stands with the NRA for allowing assault rifles and no waiting periods for handguns. That means more cops will die as a result. Some cops will vote for Bush because they are rightwingers but thinking cops won't. With Bush in charge the little guys always get the short end of the stick. They don't mind paying Halliburton mercenaries $250,000 a year but cops and soldiers get treated like pawns.
