The war was a mistake. None of the righteous foresaw the organized left embracing the slaughter of Americans and defeat of our military. I bet the "Good Germans" saw themselves as the "righteous" too. This is really Rush Limbaugh writing this, right? And if you knew anything, you'd realize that the "Left" isn't very well organized...

The only defeat we can truly suffer now in Iraq is a political one, including those from the "anti-war" movement (who are really anti-US government), or the people of Iraq deciding they don't want either democracy, or our presence.. I've yet to see any insurgent force of any strength that can credibly challenge our own forces. What's "defeating" us is our own restraint and unwillingness to incur unecessary civilian casualties... Welcome to low-intensity conflict.. Hawk
