I beg to differ. And you have no evidence to back up your claim that Kerry did anything but fight hard and deserve his medals in Vietnam. I am also not aware of anyone pushing for a Purple Heart. The soldiers themselves don't ask for medals. Someone else has to recommend them. If a soldier did demand a medal he'd come off like a jerk and not deserve it as much.

PS: Kerry's stance on Iraq turned out to be 100% right from the beginning. His only mistake was putting any trust in Cheney-Bush. He only did so in the beginning and never again.
