Just as our host had to stretch credulity by claiming a free trader like Michael Wolf of the Financial Times is now part of some vast Left Wing Conspiracy I am waiting for our host to clarify whether he was suggesting that Wolf is a liberal. He has not responded to my question, as of yet. However, your basic point is well made in that with today's conservatives - some of whom fit the mould of the talk radio persona like Limbaugh and Hannity - there is no room for disagreement. Even conservatives like George Will and Pat Buchanan are accused of deserting the cause if they take a contrary position. Others who might be viewed as moderates - like Tom Friedman - are accused of being liberals.
