Let's. I believe meeting the obligations to which one is elected must be met. If one takes a paycheck, they are required to work. Why does John Kerry put himself first and not care enough about the unemployed to bother to cast the necessary vote to help them? It is an important issue, Kerry failed so many. Let's talk why did he put himself first when he knew the vote was taking place and how important it was to those out of work? Should we not expect our senators and presidents to do their job or do we just turn our head as you have for days now and ignore it when your guy does it. Is that the message we want to send to these parties. It is OK to be irresponsible if you are part of their party? I do not believe that is the correct thing to do. We differ on this point.

You're right, Kerry split hairs on the SUV issue. But the fact is Teresa's vehicles are technically not his.
Now can we discuss real issues please?
