Kerry has said "these are not your father's republicans". Kerry has many best friends including his wife who are republicans. I am the same way. Most of my family and old friends are republicans. But the paramilitary far right is a very scary bunch. I encountered some of them once in Bangkok while researching. They are very-very cold. And the same old faces from Iran-Contra and the Contra War are back with Bush-cheney.

patricia. You said...." Republicans aren't boogeymen and womnen they just believe in a different way of achieving the same end. I should say " most" Republicans are bascially good people. We have a group of people that are out of complete control and they have in their periscope the entire surface of this world. There is something very evil in this group..........I don't care how religious they make themselves appear...........these guys and gals are evil. They are dangerous. "..... Do you ever take the time to look at what you have said? You are very easily led by by others. Your words should be applied to the enemy...radical islam... not your own government who are supposed to be the opposition NOT THE ENEMY.
