AC Flyer,

Re: Have you seen this?
rense.com;

I have. In general terms, I do not trust the Rense.com site and do not rely on it in any fashion for opinions or to support fact cases. I don't fully understand the mix of just plain weird nonsense and "conspiracy theory" admix along with some bona fide materials there.

As you might or might not be aware, the C.I.A. has been infiltrating and manipulating the American media for decades. I can provide you with background info on "Project Mockingbird" and the "Mighty Wurlitzer" if you are not up to speed on these devious operations.

Rense.com appears to me to be a "psy-ops" shop. Convenient to some in the shadow government who would love to judge just how gullible the American public is to varying disinformation campaigns.

That said, the Berg story certainly has all the hallmarks of being a "wag the dog" disinformation distraction. I find it interesting how quickly the story lost any traction in the media or with the Republican mad dogs like Sen. Inhofe. I think the realized that they'd just stepped into a huge pile of dogsh!t with this spectacularly poorly produced storyline.
