Haze, that's what we euphemistically call the weather here (~70 miles east of Los Angeles, i know.. not much longer)

Haze: 1 a : fine dust, smoke, or light vapor causing lack of transparency of the air b : a cloudy appearance in a transparent liquid or solid

And my plans to move to the beach are now in shambles. <g>

Re: San Diego proper actually has pretty clean air these days.

Stricter emission standards are having their effect.

What about the freeways? Are the cars moving?

And what about those San Diegans who gloat over their house values? Does anything else stimulate them these days? <g>
