US or US presidents have never been Willingly or Idiotically follow or support Israel's expansion policy, methods or their endless demands for enormous financial aid year after year for decades or the Iraq war which Israel and the powerful American Israelis strongly pushed for and in which the US has nothing to gain but virtually all things to lose_ Lives of the American men and women(not to mention the Iraqis), hundred of Billions$$$ with an open end as the war/occupation drags on, political and moral image domestically and abroad, traditional allies and friends around the world, etc. So why the US or US presidents keep doing these self-sacrificing or even self-destruction things? Well, it’s all about power rather than choice: Which group’s actually controlling the top power in US these days _ in political, financial, military, and media areas and what's the goal of the group. Real-life evidence, great reports and comments (including many posted in this thread) are plenty. As long as you connect the dots, you can understand it and solve many related problems, IMO.
