I just hit the wrong key when I typed it:

Now why you would even consider any reason as being logical for my referring to Carl as a piece of fabric, strikes me as simply incredible..

But it certainly suggests that maybe that you are a cretin as well..;0)

I thought that was a very funny post and kudos to you for using such an interesting word. I can only remember seeing it a few times, in British novels, when the subject of furniture happened to come up. I had no idea you could also make drapes out of it- and I did not know it could be cotton and linen as well as rayon. For some reason I thought it was only made of rayon- so thanks for setting me straight on that.
