Israeli's do not need to train the U.S. in interrogation techniques.

But they did. And the world is puking now that they've seen the results.

"Israeli's do not need to train the U.S. in interrogation techniques. There are centers set up in this country for that specific purpose."

The exact same techniques. Not similar techniques used by the Russians, Germans or Canadians, but the SAME techniques used by the Israelis. You're not seeing things correctly.

"The other item to note is the prisoners in those cell blocks were not there for traffic violations"

WRONG. It seems up to 90% have been picked up in random sweeps or turned in by a jealous neighbor.

Also, 30 years ago we had something in this country called common sense. You didn't need to be trained to know that common sense says it's wrong to ram stuff up someone's ass.

That training thing goes too far. Even Novak when he released the name of an American undercover CIA agent in his column was arguing if it was actually against the law to do so. Common sense would have told him that if the CIA had the person as an undercover agent, it was not in this countries best interest to release it.

Atually THIS paricular behavior has been documented by the Red Cross of actions of Israeli's to Palestinian prisoners. I'm not talking about general bad behavior.

More triumphant news for you: After IDF have made massive killings in the virtually defenseless Palestinian land since May 11, nearly destroyed hundred of Palestinian homes and left over a thousand people homeless, IDF bulldozers may continue to move forward, supported by Israel's Supreme Court and the "Man of Peace".

The Palestinians may pay 100 times this time (instead of the usual 3-10 times) with their blood and tears for the 6 IDF troops killed when they invaded Gaza on May 11.

Israel Threatens to Destroy Hundreds of Gaza Homes
Sun May 16, 2004 07:31 AM ET

By Jeffrey Heller
JERUSALEM (Reuters) - Israel's top general threatened Sunday to destroy hundreds of Palestinian refugee homes after the Supreme Court cleared the way for demolitions in a flashpoint Israeli-held corridor on the Gaza-Egypt border.

Secretary of State Colin Powell said the United States opposed the destruction of homes in Rafah refugee camp, adjacent to the "Philadelphi" buffer zone in the southern Gaza Strip, and urged an end to a cycle of violence.

"Hundreds of houses have been marked for destruction," a senior official quoted Israeli army chief Moshe Yaalon as telling the cabinet at its weekly meeting, without giving any timeframe for their demolition.
