Excellent. Thanks for posting. It's amazing how some of the military guys, with actual on the ground experience, can bury the political guys (Rummy and Bush) with pragmatic common sense. The experts are supposed to tell the president how and when to do it. With this president, Cheney and Rumsfeld think they're the experts and decided to intervene between the real experts and the president. It's a shame we've got the wrong people in charge. Well, we knew that from the get go. <g> What infuriates me is the partisan types and idiots who kept insisting that Rumsfeld and Cheney were brilliant. In truth, they're incompetents still playing GI Joe from when they were kids. I think we've reached a point where we must develop a new way to select candidates for president other than the primaries. We can't afford such costly mistakes as these guys have wrought. ted
