And what is scary is that all this will not be acts by Bush as President. But by groups of people each with their own political agenda.

Recall the incident when Bush deputed Uncle Baker to Europe to negotiate the Iraqi debt with the European countries and the Rumsfeld-Wolfowitz gang pulled the rug from under that trip? That is the type of situation we will have, IMO.

Re-election would be disasterous for us all, even conservatives. For one thing, the deficits are projected to widen, not narrow and a 13 trillion deficit within 8 years is a figure I saw from a team of expert economists. Even if it's only half that much we're in for a huge devaluation again, and a greater gulf between the Bushie rich and everyone else. Energy companies could keep gouging and gouging and yes, invade Iran, why not? More oil for Texas. Plenty of evil-doers in iran, right?
